Engaging Jesus: encounter

Engaging Jesus: Encounter vision for encouragement.

I was sitting reading a book then I heard, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” (John 14:6)

I looked up and saw Jesus standing in front of me smiling. Then a door appeared in Him, it was open the path beyond it was covered in gold. I saw flowers, trees too. I felt the invitation to venture in through the door/way/Jesus. As I stepped in, Truth and Life just like the Door became a part of me.

John 1:1 we read Jesus is the Word. We know the Word is alive (Hebrews 4:12a). When we read the Bible, we should be doing more than read, we should engage the Word. We should become one with the Word. John 15 Jesus talks about abiding in Him.

If He is the Word and we are to abide in Him, shouldn’t the Word become a part of us? There’s a richness to the Word/ Jesus Christ and when we do more than read, we engage and the Word comes alive in a way that changes and transforms us. Some people have even felt the vibration and frequency of the word.

I’m still grasping the full revelation of this encounter, I’m seeking Jesus, looking at Jesus as the Word from a fresh perspective.

May we be fully immersed in Jesus and desire nothing else and none other but Him.

Love & Blessings!
