Without Blemish or Winkle

Revelation 19:7 Now is the time of joy and happiness. He deserves all the glory we can give Him for the wedding feast has begun; the marriage of the Lamb to His bride has commenced and His bride has prepared herself for this glorious day. (The Voice)

I was in the kitchen preparing something to eat. I started hearing the song Hallelujah by Elevation and Stephanie Gretzinger in the spirit. I sang for a while then stopped to catch my breath and heard angels singing. “Hallelujah! Hallelujah!…..” They kept singing the chorus over and over. I saw the heavens open and light penetrated the opening. Angels came through escorting the Bridegroom (Jesus). He was dressed in white. In my heart, I started asking if I was without blemish and without wrinkle. I was dressed in normal clothes. The Bridegroom stopped in front of me smiled and took my hand. My garments were instantly transformed to a beautiful white gown.

The change of garment was a beautiful affirmation from Jesus but I also felt there was a deeper meaning to it. While we are to prepare the church for Jesus return, it is imperative we look at ourselves and make sure our garments are spotless. Being vulnerable before Him is key to maintaining your purity and holiness. He already knows the condition of your heart, He knows and understands your struggles. Yielding to Him, dying to self and things that defile you is important. Going deeper and remaining hidden in the folds of His glorious presence is important in navigating through the current times and what is to come. He has already presented the blueprint of holiness, we are to take it and activate it and walk it out.

Ephesians 5:27 He has given Himself so that He can present the church as His radiant bride, unstained, unwrinkled and unblemished – completely free from all impurity- holy and innocent before Him. (The Voice)

This vision was personal, for you and I to take inventory of ourselves. Being a bride means you are committed to your bridegroom, you are loyal, true, constant, present and faithful. If you can commit to your earthly husband/wife and change or adapt to make your marriage work, how much more should you with the author and finisher of your faith? Now is the time to prepare for His return. Now is the time to change your garment and step into the bridal chamber with the perfect and flawless bridegroom and let Him do the work in you that He needs to do. You are not being overly spiritual for desiring only what pleases Him. Make Jesus your lifestyle and live a life worthy of Him.

Love & Blessings!
