Genesis 22:2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
I noticed the time today and felt to go to Genesis 22:2. When I read it, I knew this is what the Lord wanted me to share for today’s devotion. The question I felt impressed on my spirit is –
Would you do it if you’d been in Abraham’s shoes?
What would you willingly give up for Him? What would you do if He asked you to step out in faith and – leave your job, sow that seed that breaks the bank or move to that city you don’t like, or a country you’ve never been to that is remote or ridden in violence?
Would you joyfully do it?
What would you do? Are you prepared to be fully obedient? Will you be like Jonah and run or be like Abraham and submit trusting the One who gave you that much needed breakthrough is able to give another one once you step out into the unknown?
……think about it…
Oh my GOODNESS! No words once again! speechless! Have Your way Lord!

What are we willing to lay down? Abraham was ready to “lay” down the one thing he’d longed for and waited years for: his son. 😭😭😭😭 this is messing me up. Have Your way Lord!

Leaving All to Follow Christ

Luke 14:33 (NKJV Strong’s,)
33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. He must have it all and be Lord of all or He is not Lord at all.
