For a few weeks now, I’ve felt to intercede for people going through hardships or struggles, and for those who are waiting for a promise to be fulfilled. There has been a burning in my heart for them to see a breakthrough, for their hope and faith to remain steadfast in the Lord because He who promised is faithful to complete and bring to pass what He promised. I hope this blog really blesses and encourages you to hang in there because God knows what He has planned for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Lord, You know where I’m at in this journey. The wilderness has been back bending yet even in my most trying moments You have been there. When the storms came and swept me off my feet, it is You who held me up and carried me to higher heights. So today, though my pain is great, I trust You. Though my path is bridled with thorns and thickets, I trust You. Though my body is racked with fatigue and I feel like I can’t go on, I trust You. Though confusion comes to cloud my vision, Father, I still trust You. Even though I don’t know where I’m headed, I chose to trust You because You have never failed me. You have never led me down the wrong path. You have never lost me in the maze of crazy. You have never let me down or set me up for failure.
I choose to trust You Lord because only You know what You have planned for me.
People have come and tried to steer me down another path. They have discouraged me. They have said this cannot be God because the suffering has been great. Yet, You reminded me of Israel in the house of the pharaoh. You told me to stay the course because You have a plan. Just like You had Moses go deliver Israel from the clutches of bondage Lord I know You have One appointed for me to help me even in my darkest hour. Thank You Holy Spirit for comforting me and helping me remain faithful.
I choose to trust You because only You know what you Have planned for me.
I’ve lost friends because they see the losses that have surrounded me. When I needed them they became busy forgetting the times I had stayed up all night to comfort them in their misery. When I cried out to You, You reminded me of Job. He lost everything but His faith in You remained steady because He trusted You. I wanted the agony gone. I wanted the trials to stop. I wanted it all to end but when You mentioned Your servant job, I knew where to draw my strength.
Lord, I choose to trust You because only You know what You have planned for me.
No trials comes without a blessing. No pain comes without a testimony. Remember when the devil came to test me? He offered me a way out. He showed me riches that were attainable if I left you. He pressed me down yet even then, Lord You were faithful. When I cried out to You, You reminded me of Jesus when He was tempted in the wilderness. I knew where to draw my strength. As the Son looked to the Father so do I look to You Abba Father.
I choose to trust You because only You know what You have planned for me.
God will never steer you wrong. Trust Him even when everyone around you is turning away from Him. No one else can claim your breakthrough, so you’ve gotta hang in there. You’ve gotta press in even when it seems all hope is gone. You gotta know that God is not man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). You gotta hold on to Him. Cling to Him. Remain in His presence and be still (Psalm 46:10). Heaven knows where you’re at. Don’t run from a journey you’ve been called to travel because it’s hard or the devil is messing you up. Bottom line, the devil wouldn’t fight you as hard as he’s fighting you if you didn’t have purpose. Don’t abort the promise God put in you because it seems impossible! Don’t allow others to breathe death over what God has said He will birth in and through you because they’ve never seen or heard God can move that way. Stay the course. Run your race and as you do, look up! (Hebrews 12:1-2) Look up and gaze upon the Lamb. He is your salvation, your way out because He is with you through every heartache, every struggle, every trial and every other thing you may face. God is strong enough for you to ride the tide of His glory for your season. He hasn’t called you to walk it out alone, He’s got you. He said He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8). So don’t look to the left or to the right but press on clinging to your only hope. JESUS!
